Honey Refractometer

A refractometer is a beekeeping equipment used by beekeepers and honey seller’s to check the moisture content, density and brix( soluble solids) in honey.

A refractometer informs it’s user of the quality of honey. For instance, according to the East African Standards of Honey, the moisture content of honey should range between 16% to 22%. These standards vary from region to region.
